ReplyDeletePopped over from Jennifer Mcguire's blog where she mentioned this card. I subscribe to your videos so I don't know how I missed this one and that would have been tragic because it is one absolutely stunning card. Sooooo lovely.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to congratulate you on being highlighted by Jenifer McGuire:)))
ReplyDeleteWow, that is just so strikingly gorgeous. Thanks so much for the tutorial.
ReplyDeleteWoo! What beautiful coloring !
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. Going to try that!
ReplyDeleteYour card is absolutely gorgeous but it's hard to see exactly what you are doing because of the way you hold the marker. Great work, though!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Susan on your comment and feedback. I am sorry that you found my video unhelpful and my hand was on the way. The way one colours is like handwriting - it is hard to change when you've learnt to colour some way. I did realised that my hand was in the way at some parts but this was the best that I could come up. I'm trying to learn to colour in different angle that you can see better in my future videos what I'm doing. Thank you for your comment. Appreciated.

ReplyDeleteamazing coloring! the blooms look freshly picked!
ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous coloring, but wow, that video moved so fast it would be impossible to learn your technique from it. It would have been nice if the video had been in real time for at least part of the flower so we could follow along and actually see you apply each different shade of color.
ReplyDeleteThank you Suzy for your comment and feedback. I am sorry that you found my tutorial unhelpful. One main reason why I speed up my videos is that if I wouldn't the videos would be very very long. This took about an hour to colour if I remember correctly. I try to keep my videos between 5 to 10 minutes to keep the interest up and that's why I need to speed things up quite a lot. But, if you wish to see this coloured more slowly, there is this speed feature in Youtube that you can yourself to choose if you want to speed up or slower my video. If you slower this video down to 0.25, you can watch it almost in real time or even slower. Just turn down the volume too because the voiceover is slowered down too. Hopefully this helps. Thank you for you comment. Appreciated.
DeleteLoved the video! Your flowers and leaves are amazing.
ReplyDeleteMarika, your work is magnificent, and this video is beautiful! What a gorgeous card, and I love the coloring and also the added dots to accent. Stunning! And thanks for the tip about slowing down the video...helped a lot. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work and talent with us! Hugs!
