Altenew is releasing 16 new stamp sets. I started my Christmas cards today and had some fun with the Modern Deer set and my Polychromo Pencils. Here's my project:
I started by stamping the deer with Rocky Shore Altenew Crisp Ink, I used the same ink for all three layers. Then I added texture with Faber-Castell Polychormo Pencils. For the background I added snowflakes. I used Snowing stamp from Altenew and stamped the flakes with Morning Frost Altenew Crisp ink. For the sentiment and I used a sentiment from Holiday Wishes set. Here is a close-up from deer.

Long time no see, but I'm back for at least this one post. Life has gotten its take, and I haven't really have time for crafting for long time now. I've missed crafting, but I have to admit that I have really enjoyed summer time and outdoors with my girls.
Today I have a very special reason to make card, my dear online friend Julia from One more card, is having her birthday today and I really would love to wish her the most beautiful birthday. Julia has the most enjoyable youtube channel - I know if I'm down or just having bad day, I usually go and watch one of her tutorial. I just love her sense of humour and her tutorials are also so informative!

I know Julias loves simple design, so I tried to keep it simple. I have to admit, I haven't touched my copics or pencils since early May, I have to admit I am a bit rusty, but I enjoyed my time crafting and I hope you like my very simple card.

I've taken these collaboration hops as a challenge for me and I've tried to go out of my comfort zone. Although these markers pegged for me to color with them, I stayed strong and did something else. I was very positively surprised, how well you can stamp with these Tombow Dual Brush Markers - I haven't tried these pens before and my experience with stamping with (different brand's) markers hasn't been so good but I really loved the result what I was able to gain with these. For the flower I used Altenew Buttercream Crisp Die Ink but the leaves and the outline of the flower is stamped with a Tombow markers. Also, the center of the flower is stamped also with three different shades and just loved the result what I was able to gain very easily.

First, I'd like to thank you for your patience. I've been really MIA in the crafting world, my real life has gotten very very busy and I haven't had a really chance to create anything. I'm hoping that in the near future things will change but we'll see.
A couple of months ago, I was contacted and asked if I'd like to do a guest post for Wplus9. Guess what my creation was to that email - of course! I also have a little secret to share: I adore Dawn's designs and colouring skills and she's been one of the biggest inspiration to me to start to improve my colouring. Now I had a chance to guest for her and that gave me a bit of pressure. Hopefully I made you proud Dawn with this card, I really loved playing with your products and I really enjoyed colouring these beautiful images.

I've had this little secret for a while and today I'm able to share it with you. Jennifer contacted me a a few months back and she asked if I wanted to make a guest video on her channel.. I think I literally stopped breathing for a while while reading that email. I think this is the biggest achievement in my crafting "career" and I felt so honoured just to be asked. I've been following Jennifer for a long and she is the kindest person I know in the crafting community. I think she is just an angel on Earth and I believe we all should follow her by giving away a little bit of kindness every day. Thank you so much, Jennifer! Today I have a card made with Purple Onion Designs stamps. I'm so glad I finally got this video edited and ready for you. I used Chloe - a bunny with a flower - and Bloom No.2 stamps to create my card today. In the video I am concentrating on how to colour a fur and add texture to it to make it look more realistic. I used my go-to colouring technique: copics combined to coloured pencils. Here's my card:

Today I'm so thrilled to be part of Altenew's 2nd Anniversary Blog Hop Celebration. You know, I'm a newbie in the crafting world and I'm kind embarrassed to let you know that I wasn't even crafting at the time of their first blog hop. My hubby went to the US in June that year and I placed my first order for Simon then. I remember that I long went back and forth whether should I order Magnolias for her- set or not. I was so drooling over the beautiful flowers but I wasn't sure if I could ever colour them properly. Well, I decided to order them after all and it has become one of my all time favourites from Altenew.
A year later, Tasnim took me under her loving wings despite of my inexperience in crafting and ever since Altenew has felt like home to me. Thank you so much Tasnim and Jennifer for letting me be part of your Team! It's really been a blast and I've loved every moment of it! Hopefully we have many more years to come ahead of us.
