Altenew October 2016 Blog Hop

Today I'm participating Altenew October 2016 Blog Hop. If you came from Laura Bassen blog, you are at the right track, if not please start at the beginning from Altenew blog.

Altenew is releasing 16 new stamp sets. I started my Christmas cards today and had some fun with the Modern Deer set and my Polychromo Pencils. Here's my project:


I started by stamping the deer with Rocky Shore Altenew Crisp Ink, I used the same ink for all three layers. Then I added texture with Faber-Castell Polychormo Pencils. For the background I added snowflakes. I used Snowing stamp from Altenew and stamped the flakes with Morning Frost Altenew Crisp ink. For the sentiment and I used a sentiment  from Holiday Wishes set. Here is a close-up from deer.

    Marika, I am fortunate enough to live in Helena, Montana and although it is the Capital, we are literally on the East slope of the Continental divide so I have deer in my yard every day - and I love them.     Oh Marika, adorable! She's sooo life like, I can just imagine what her coat feels like. I love this stamp, but your coloring takes it to a whole other level.
