Altenew March Release Blog Hop II + Giveaway

Today I'm participating Altenew March Release Blog Hop. If you came from Evelyn Yusuf blog, you are on the right track. If not, please start at the beginning of Altenew's blog.

Altenew is releasing a wonderful set of new stamps and dies. I played a little with Garden Treasure stamp and Garden Treasure die set and made this wedding card for my collaque. Firstly, I stamped the flowers with Altenew Blush Crisp Die Ink onto a copic friendly card stock. Then coloured the flowers with copic markers and coloured pencils. I used a square die to die cut the two pieces of card stock that I use to create the background. I used Cherry Wood card stock and the same card stock that I used for my card base. I wanted to have to something light and beautiful on the background as well so I stamped a few leaves from an older stamp set called Precious Moments, I stamped the sentiment from Ori kami set with Altenew Jet Black Crisp die ink.

    Love the soft, subtle colors on your card Marika, and your coloring is beautiful. Nobody does layering stamps better than Altenew, and I love how they give you the outline stamp too, in case you want to do your own coloring.
