I'm at the Altenew blog today to feature a Beautiful Day set. I had fun watercoloring these flowers with distress ink - I should do that more often, it was so relaxing.
I also made this into a speed colouring video - hopefully you'll find it helpful. You can watch it here or in HD in YouTube.
Supplies:
Stamps: Beautiful Day and Fresh Freesia from Altenew
Inks: Peacock Feathers and Stormy Sky Distress Inks, Versafine Onyx Black
Green Textured Cards Stock
Wedding Dress irRESISTible Pico Embellisher
White fun foam
Thank you for stopping by today. Have a great Saturday. I'm off to work now.
Hugs,
Marika
Oh, Marika, beyond lovely. I look forward to your video on the leafs. Until then....thank you.
ReplyDeleteHello Marika I wanted to know if you used a watercolor paper for your cards? Or do you used regular card stock?
ReplyDeleteSTUNNING
ReplyDeleteWhat is the name of the second water brush you used - the black and white one...not the yellow one? The second one seemed to be more precise????????

ReplyDeleteOh Marika, as always, your artistry and talent just shine on your cards and what luck I have that precisely today, this gorgeous stamps set arrived at my house so, I'm going to be inking it up tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing you color this images I realized I'm in bad need of new water brushes, I love the first one you used, I think the tip is smaller and sharper to add all of the wonderful details and shadows.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cards with us.
