Altenew May 2017 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello,

Today, I'm participating Altenew May 2017 Release Blog Hop. If you came, from Kavitha's blog you're on the right track, if not please start at the beginning from Altenew blog. 

I used Under the Cherry Blossoms Tree stamp set to create my card. Here's my project:

I stamped the braches with Buttercream Altenew Crisp Die ink. Although the branches overlapped, I didn't use any masking since I was going to colour them up anyway. I laid my base layer with copics and added sharp details with coloured pencils over the copic layer. I list all the colours that used below if you are interested on exact colors I used. 

For the butterflies, I used an older stamp set (which is still one of my all time favourite Altenew stamp sets) and stamped with the same Buttercream ink onto a piece of white card stock. I coloured the butteflies with copics and coloured pencils. I used a piece of foam tape and liquid glue to adhere the butterflies and stamped the sentiment from the same Under the Cherry Blossoms Tree stamp set with black pigment ink. I used pigment ink to ensure good stamping over the coloured images. Here's a close-up of the butterflies. I also stamped a little falling pedals with Peach Perfect Altenew Crisp ink. To finish up my card I adhere da piece of Cherry Wood card stock.

Card Stock: Cherry Wood Altenew Card Stock
