Altenew July 2017 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway



Today, I'm participating Altenew July 2017 Release Blog Hop. If you came, from Lilith Eeckles blog you're on the right track, if not please start at the beginning from Altenew Card Blog.

I made my cards using Little one and Pretty pansies stamp sets. Here are my projects:


In this card I used very simple copic colouring. To add some detail, I added a little bit of Wink of Stella on the baby bodies and stamped the little dots to the background. Quick and easy to do!



On this card I used my second to favourite colouring technique. First I stamped the pansy flower with three different shades of Altenew inks and then added details with coloured pencils. It looks quite real, doesn't it? If you are thinking of trying out this technique, this stamp set is perfect for practising it. 


Copics, inks and Polychromos used:

Copics: YG63 - YG0000 - G43

Polychromos: Juniper green (165), Naples yellow (185), Cold grey V (234), Black (199), Red violet (194), Mauve (249), Purple violet (156), and Earth green yellowish (168).

Altenew crisp inks: Midnight violet, Rose quant, Puffed heart, Lavender fields, Soft lilac, Coral berry, Forest glades, Frayed leaf, and Deep iris.

Card Stock: Neenah solar white.

    That baby card is so adorable! I never thought to do something like that but I am going to try it. I don't have that stamp but I have some baby stamps that I could repeat like that. I love to make baby cards.

    Yes the pansy does look so real. What a great way to make a background for the baby card great idea. I have never used Altenew inks maybe I might try them. But I do love all their new stamps so much. Time to shop😊
