Today I don't have a new project to share but I have a video from an older card that I made. I made this card for the CAS(E) this Sketch two weeks ago and filmed it while making it. I haven't edited a video before so it took me some time to get this video ready for to go public and I wanted to share this card at the CTS that week. That's why these two are not in the same post.
I would more than appreciate your feedback - any kind. I know that this video is quite long and next time I'll make a shorter one. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. If you don't want to say it publicly, please send me an email. I really would love to here what you really think, what I should keep and what I should change.
So here it goes.

It was so much fun to watch you color, Marika! I just wish some of your talent oozed through the computer screen though in my direction :)
ReplyDeleteHow exciting, I'm heading over!
ReplyDeleteYour card is super Adorable and I would love to watch the video :) Thanks .
ReplyDeleteVery fun video - it was inspiring to watch and the techniques seeped through easily. I've been wanting to watch a video on your gorgeous coloring since I came across your blog! Fantastic job! Can I please ask you to show the products you use as well - I know it's mentioned in the blog, but seeing it in the video would be great! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHello Marika,
ReplyDeleteI really love your video - I like to watch how often you go back and add more color to really get the look you want! And it's great to watch you color!
The hardest part in your video for me was, when you scribbled the brush on the other lovely flower painting to get rid of the color - aaaahhhhh :-) I would love to have so much talent like you, to have such beautiful paintings as "scrap paper".
So thanks for this great video and I hope to see more!!!

Great video Marika! Thanks for sharing. To embed your video you have to take the embedding code generated by YouTube (<iframe...) and insert it directly into the html code of your blogpost. Hope that helps. I had been a little irritated about that too.
ReplyDeleteWow!!! You go girl! Always feel if you get to know someone better after hearing their voice! Thanks for showing us how you made this winning card Marika!
ReplyDeleteYay ekalle videolle! Hyvä oli, lisää näitä! :) :) Munkin huomio kiinnittyi niihin pioneihin siinä suttupaperilla, kauniita kuin mitkä! Hauska idea muuten kiinnittää leimakuvat osittain koholle, pitääpä pistää muistiin ;)
ReplyDeleteWow, Marika! LOVE your video... LOVE what you created... LOVE your coloring! AMAAAZING! I wish I have an ounce of your coloring skill! You are so talented and your card is just fabulous!
ReplyDeleteWOW!! Thank you for sharing your video. I adore how you created those clouds. Your water coloring with those pencils is amazing too. Just fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute card! Your water coloring is to perfection! Such patience! The video went very well. I have nothing but good things to say about it. It held my interest all the way through. Thanks for sharing. Hope you will do more videos. Such fun.
ReplyDeleteOh, I would have loved to watch your video, Marika, but my line is so slow it is a huge frustration to try and watch videos - it stops every few seconds and you have to wait for it to load!!! Takes you forever to watch a very short video!! I know I'm missing out not being able to watch it, but I'll come back at a later stage and see if it's not better then!!! Your winning card is really so stunning!!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely Tuesday!!!
Your card is super-cute Marika and I love your design! Thanks for sharing your first video too - it was wonderful to watch your card come together - hugs xx
ReplyDeleteReally relly cut. I love how you colored it. Your blog is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove your card and your video! You did super!!!
ReplyDeleteJust fantastic, Marika!!! I'm so glad I stopped back to see this! I sure do wish you lived in my neighborhood... I love to take a lesson, and to try the Derwent pencils!
